"Retiring from Studio" New Teacher Taking Over

Hello everyone!

After teaching string lessons in Door County for over 10 years, I have decided to "retire" from studio work. As of July 2015, Tutti Strings Music Studio's new, amazing teacher is Lori Wier. To contact Lori directly, please call: 608-247-6487. Lori offers lessons at her music studio in Sturgeon Bay.

Thank you to everyone who has played their instrument through my studio these many years! Many I have taught since you were in elementary school, and now you are all grown! Best of luck continuing your musical training!

Sincerely,
Lori Meyer

Get Ready for a New School Year

INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE: In preparation for our lessons beginning in September, please check your instrument carefully to see if you might need to replace strings or have your bow re-haired. The summer is a great time to do routine maintenance on your instrument in case it needs to be in the shop for more than a few days you will have time to be without your instrument.

MUSIC NEEDS: Please be sure that any music you need for the fall is ordered and in your hands before our first lesson. Starting a new school year and a new music book is so much fun, so be sure you have what you need to begin and get off to a great start! Check out the links to music stores on this blog to purchase your needed music.

See you soon!

Tutti Strings Lessons Moving….

Hello everyone! School is starting so quickly here! I can't believe we are already at the end of August! As many of you start working on your schedules, I want to be sure that you get into string lessons as well! First of all, I am very excited about moving lessons to Bay View Lutheran Church on Maple Street in Sturgeon Bay. Many of you are already familiar with this church and for several of you, a little closer to home too. How cool that I teach at Bay View Middle School in Green Bay, and now Bay View Church in Sturgeon Bay. Keeping it simple!

Anyways, you will be receiving an e-mail from me very soon about scheduling lessons for the fall. The schedule will continue to be bi-weekly, and to simplify things, I will include teaching dates for the the rest of the year, through December, when I correspond with you about scheduling your first lesson.

I have a few openings for new students, so if you know anyone interested in lessons, please let me know. I would gladly give a free lesson to anyone for referring a student to me!

I look forward to seeing you all again!

-Lori

The time is earlier than the normal 2:00 p.m. to accommodate those who want to watch the Packer Game :). So, hopefully everyone will be able to come. Students will be performing individually and in small groups. It will be my daughter's first recital playing cello, so be sure not to miss this one!!
